The Tortoise is on her way!

I'm 30 years old, and I live in country SA. I'm married to a wonderful guy who is very supportive of my weight loss quest. I love going onto the WW site and looking at others' blogs....very inspirational! I've decided once and for all that this is the time to take control of my weight, and I've got lots of incentives along the way to keep me going....one of them being an entire new wardrobe of clothes from hubby when I reach goal...WOO HOO!!

One step forward, two steps back...GRRR.

Hello everyone! Well, as I thought, I gained when I weighed in this morning (2kgs)...but what makes it even worse, is that it takes me back up to MORE than what I weighed before I started WW! Not good at all. I expected to gain, but didn't think it would be THAT much. Well, I'm not giving up. Hopefully I have some good news to report next Saturday.....bye!

Away for a while....

Hello everyone....I hope you are all doing well. I've been away for a week, as a close family member passed away last week, and the last thing on my mind was tracking points and weighing in. I am able, however, to gain comfort and strength to deal with this by knowing he is no longer suffering and is at peace.
I'll weigh in again this Saturday, and if I've gained, (which I no doubt have), then I'll just get myself back on track.
Bye for now xx

Here we go!

Hello all! I've read alot of other people's blogs, and I decided to start one of my own. At my heaviest weight, I was 130.8kg... with my WW goal being 66kg. I started Weight Watchers a few weeks ago, and in that time I've lost 1.8kgs. I have figured my goal seems more attainable if I break it down into 5kg portions, with little rewards at the end of each one: CD, new lippy etc.
I got home an hour ago from a 50 minute walk. I did the same walk yesterday, and although I came home hot and puffing like a mad thing, it felt soooo good!
Thanks for taking the time to read this.....I'll post more as I go! Bye!
